Petty club politics surprisingly disturbing in my unjustifiably fragile lockdown state. I’m annoyed that I’m annoyed as it’s so trivial really. However for today’s newt I did manage to join a new zwift club and the day has ended much better than it started.

The courier company did themselves no favours in getting it to me but that aside we couldn't fault it. First time I've ever had food from the kitchen of Tommy Banks but CRIKEY it was lovely. His restaurant has been on our list of 'restaurants we would love to go to if we could get a table/had the money/didn't have to worry about what to do with the dog' but it's moved much higher up the list following tonight's dinner. Will blog tomorrow.....

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
