We usually eat early, around 6 with the children, but tonight they have been fed & packed off to bed, we're going to enjoy roast chicken with jacket spuds & salad & a nice bottle of something fizzy

half a roasted butternut squash each here, with a little garlic and chilli. when soft, scooped out and mashed up with cheese and pancetta, put back in skins and back in the oven for a bit.
i am sure it has a proper name but i don't know what it is...

Goat butter? WTF? And Oysterboy: you don't know what you've just done to me. I spent most of last week obsessing over wanting a chicken, broccoli and Stilton pie, the desire finally subsided and now it's back I'm going to have to go and get a pie from the pie shop on Monday now...
