Sheesh, that was a heck of a meeting... right...
Extras (e.g. extra laces, extra insoles - I got both of these with my Hoka Rapa Nuis, which I thought was really useful) Specialismness (shut up, it's a word!) - my X-talons are awesome on the rocks n mud, but horrid on tarmac, my Hokas are ace on rocks and road, but terrible on hilly grass and mud. Actually, thinking about it, almost no shoe can do everything. Hmmm.
Agree with Flanker, a lot of it is subjective, but there will be room for comments so folk can read words beside the numbers. G

Some good comments made so far. I am with Fleecy, the expected mileage is a key factor though this tough to calculate...........

Happy - I'm fine in my x-talons on tarmac. I could quite happily run a road marathon in them (although it'd kill the studs!). Which I think illustrates the problem: they'll be so many conflicting views that it may leave the reader more confused than at the start.
