Currently sitting with group of rock choir members who know nothing about cricket but are cheering enthusiastically (I've just had to explain field placement terms and what a full toss,yorker and bouncer are) WI 17-5 - might not last till lunch😯

Someone in the 'crowd' suggested a bet on him to score 200 at Lord's and it made perfect sense. Garton looked useful, but I never knew that Jennings could bowl like that! Looked sharp enough and must've been just moving it a fraction.

Or did Ballance's failure No1 and failure No.2 sandwich Lyth's failure (so far) No.1. Recalling Ramprakash/Hick I think there's another 6 or 7 recall/failure/dropped cycles to go through for each of them....
