Incidentally we've gone from Ok to bad to fucking atrocious (apart from an 8 delivery spell after tea Sunday) across 3 tests.
Current trajectory suggests our worst ever loss, innings and 332 runs, is under threat for the 5th test....

we always forget the bit part players
3rd test Old bowled 50 overs in the match for 100 runs and 1 wickets, 2 an over....those were the days....
4th test Emburey 37 no and 2 for 40 off of 22 overs 5th test Tavare 78 and 69, Knott and Emburey get 50s

I remember the 5th Test at Old Trafford, second innings, Beefy came in when Tavare was on about 40, caught him up, over took him and was out for 100 odd before Tavare had got many more.
