If I was picking the time Moeen would be one of the first names inked into the sheet certainly. Not so sure about Rashid - but I'm not sure Stuart Broad would stroll into my starting XI either.
nico 8439 is brilliant.

How about a 'my dad was duller than your dad' competition?
How about picking William Tavaré? He's got a really dull uncle.

Broad tends to make things happen*, a bit like Ben Stokes. I'd pick Broad ahead of Anderson (or Finn or Wood or Plunkett or Jordan or Willey or Topley or Ball)
* sometimes its a match winning spell, sometimes it's six sixes

I hope the "dull dad" jibe wasn't aimed at Chris Broad. He won the Ashes single handed in 87, then went proper ape shit in Pakistan. Nothing dull about that.

Scoring rate in tests of 37.86. Quite a lot dull about that.

Seems that Buttler will replace Balance, we need more right handers. What about the one who should have opened in the last test? Hameed is going to do the "the tour will be good for the experience he will get" role; usually this is followed by being selected after not batting for 4 months and surprisingly not doing so well.
The main change that Broad will make is in making the lower order worse.

Tavare was so dull, people noticed and he became a cult figure as a result. People couldn't actually tell you what Peter Willey did.
