Watching (or listening to, or even following on the BBC live text) England isn't the same without an element of jeopardy. A big part of the fun is being convinced they are going to win, then 2 overs later, watching a collapse from behind the sofa. Happy days.

Agreed. As much as this team wins, years of collapses (going back 35 years) mean the pessimism is never far away. And lets be honest - we've had some atrocious tails down the years. Didn't we once bat Mullally at 9?
