Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This is bringing back some memories, although in some cases it is as much as I can do to remember the names.

Going back slightly further, Sylvester Clarke. Lovely man.

Chris Balderstone, I was a sort of Leicester fan back then, Gower really.....Nick Cook, Taylor, Peter Willey, Agnew, these people used to get very close to winning the country champs.

And let's close the circle with one of the worst of the lot, who is now part of the "No Fear" generation...

Blimey, I had totally forgotten he was West Indian (and also, sadly dead). I think I was thinking of Monty Lynch from my days of spending my summers at The Oval.

Vincent Van der Bijl.

I have backed Cook to be England's top run Scorer, and Finn to be Eng's top wicket taker and a 2-0 series win, I am thinking the weather will intervene.

so what do we want to happen. A big score from COok, Hales to do well, Compton? A decent start for Vince, root bairstow etc have their places nailed down.

I'd like a Hales hundred in the same style as the one his mate Samit bashed yesterday

It's a bit different from watching the Kohli-ABDV 229 run T20 partnership...

Have you seen Virat's T20 numbers this year? Total madness!
