I remember watching Boycs bat all through a (admittedly rain-interrupted) day at Chelmsford for 49. I got Boyc’s autobiography signed by the great man himself at Clarke’s Stationers and Bookshop, must be circa 1985/6 from memory. Still have it and placed next to Nasser Hussain’s autobio.
