I saw an interesting point raised the other day: should we play The Ashes under the same rules as the Women's ashes - ie an amalgam of 3 tests, 3 ODI's and 3 T20's. It would be a true test of each nation's cricket strength (as the Ashes once was when Tests were the only form of the game), and would be an excellent way of getting new T20 followers engaged with the longer form if they're all wrapped up together.
