Ok, I'm calling this one off for bad light (plus I need to go plug my laptop in)
The highest ever proportion of a total innings was in the first ever test. Charles Bannerman got 165* out of 245 for Australia. Michael Slater got really close with 123/184 in 1999; and England's highest is Gooch's 154*/252 in 1991 (well done TRO). The one I found funny was Craig Overton getting 33* in England's 58 against NZ in 2018

Just found the list and the funny one is indeed very, very funny (England 58 all out against NZ and their number 9 top scores with 33 not out!) and very, very England.
