It's an interesting concept and tactics might come into play. If one of the sides that you're facing has weaker bowling but are going to bowl to you in the second 6, do you try and keep some big hitters back to take advantage?

Let's have the batsmen discard pads and make the bat round Let's have the batsmen running a square Let's allow the bowler to throw the ball and instead of running in, he can stand on a mound. And it won be cricket any more.
