If we win this, or Essex do, then 10 wins out of 14= deserved champions. If we don't, then an inability to beat the eventual champions in either game will mean we didn't deserve to win.

Most nervous I have ever been just following a game on Cricinfo. The piece also included a quote from Tendo saying we've done all this with no overseas players. Hmmmm.

Batting: lasted 8 balls, 5 fours, then hit it straight back to the bowler. Fielding: while keeping wicket, took a catch after it had bounced off me where a box would have been. Just as well he was bowling very slowly. I see no good reason not to go straight back into retirement 😀
