Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I find I have ZERO interest in the short form of the game and dont follow it at all. I do like the tests though. Shame work gets in the way.

Didn't get to see the end of the match. Not that there was much doubt from the bits I did see. Is it coincidence that Rooooot is free to concentrate on his batting rather captaincy? Or did he just need a bit of R&R to find his form after an intense set of series?

Hopefully the latter, Flanks. As for Rashid, that looked rather reminiscent of 'that' ball. Wonder if he will ever want to make a go of Test cricket. He seems in so much more control of his game these days, although I suppose the 4 ball that is ok every over in ODIs is not acceptable in the long form. Much as a Somerset boy wants Leach/Bess in the side, a good leggie is such a quantum leap from a finger spinner.

He should not be captain.

Yes seems a shame, but the idea of concentrating on the one day game is working for Rashid.

It was the expression on Kohli’s face that did it for me. There was a hint of a petulant playground “that wasn’t fair”. Most entertaining.
