Resisted the urge to switch TV on this morning, got into the car to hear Tuffers on TMS saying this will be a great session, Root might score quickly and Vince will get his 100. Before I had reached the end of my road, Vince had run himself out! Superb commentators curse from the cat. Happy enough with 196 - 4

Hope it stays that way as it will help our bowlers as well. Agree that the 'dodgy 3' getting runs was good, they're in the series now and we'd be in superb shape if one of Chef/Craptain had hung about with them. Big hour with the new ball first up tomorrow - 215-7 is not so good, but if one of the two in or Bairstow survives and then goes big that should get us around 400. Happy overall.
