Yeah wasn't looking so great last night - today's met office forecast reads:

"Staying mild but mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain or showers at times"

We have 261 runners now entered and historically we get between an extra 20 to 40 on the day.... Online entries close tonight at 18.00pm

Does anyone know what the water stations have on offer? i.e. is it just water, or are there gels, iso-drink, cornish pasties, cake etc?

Cheers!

good question... the option to leave personal drinks for the drink stations is tempting, but if there's stuff that's not just water there anyway, I won't bother

Don't they have 4G broadband in Cornwall? Can we make us of that to order a pizza for delivery out on the course?!

Lol -- we are having high speed broadband rolled out right now, we're getting ours switched on in December.

Serious note- Bring your own drinks and gels. We have bags every 3-4 miles which you should label with your number and then you can get handed to you as you go past (in theory). If you don't, there are cups of water, but no gels etc. The bags depart at 9.30am, so make sure you have put them in by then. I find the cups of water a bit small and when i tried to take 2 I got rebuffed one year! (before I was involved in the organisation)!!!
