I'm guessing the filming of the semis was a different order to their screenings, given the severity of Sabre's injury and length of the recovery. After Powerball, lost all interest in the men's competition. We'll have a final of guys that have all been beaten or that shouldn't be there. Women's final should be a cracker, though. |

I was wondering that too. I couldn't remember if any of the remaining male contenders had been fastest losers. I think Bronte will win the women's final. |

I'll be team Bronte next week, she will be a deserving winner. If there's any female gladiators left to face her! Hopefully Finlay wins for the guys. Or maybe they'll bring in some even more random guys? Anyone heard whether it's been recommissioned for a hopefully longer, more expansive series 2? We need more episodes (get rid of fastest losers, except for injury replacement), more gladiators, and more games! |

Gauntlet really needs a rethink for next year. I was expecting to see The Ring or Powerball in the final. Excellent men's Eliminator. Shame that Wesley went to ground twice due to his hamstring. Marie-Louise seemed to have the edge over Brontë and probably deserved the win. I would have thought Brontë would have taken the risk coming off balance beam rather than composing herself and waiting for a mistake from her opponent. I see that there was a call for new contenders next year. I wonder if that decision for another series has already been commissioned. |
