On behalf of my teen, who knows I'm asking here.

My 14 year old loves outdoor stuff and is just getting back to activity after an op. He has a device fitted that first aiders etc would need to know about in an emergency.

He wants to go running/get about on his bike by himself and wants something obvious but comfy for exercising in. Bonus points if it's not too naff. For guided/coached activities he has an alert card to lodge with a leader which was provided by a charity but they only seem to do cards.

We thought there may be Fetchies who have tried and tested recommendations on comfort before we order online.

Thanks

I have no medical issues but run with a silicone ID band that has essential data should I come to grief: name, age, blood group, no known allergies etc etc. Is this what you mean?

If so, I bought one of these: theidbandco.com

A bit pricey but comfy. Mine is dayglo pink!

Ooh do they?

Cuthbert can be a bit fussy with what's comfy to run in (like his mother) so the recommendations are helpful.

I wear a silicon medical alert bracelet. It comes in a variety of colours. Easy to wear and I never take mine off.

I'm on my second wristband from roadid.com - based in the US but it arrived very quickly (and I only replaced the first one because some of the info on it needed to change).
