The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.

Just reread the fetchmas page for today. Should be more attentive. Obviously I'm grateful for the little things and being more fortunate than most in this world. Thoughts for those who are struggling.
Ghost of Fetchmas past, present and future. A Fetchmas Carol. Might it go something like this...?
Eberteaboy Scrooge is a miserable person who hates training and makes life miserable for those who enjoy getting out there. Bob Fetchit isn't allowed enough time off working to train at all but suffers for his family.
He's visited by the ghost of Jacob Garmin, cursed to wander the earth logging all the training for all the runners.
The ghost of Fetchmas past shows Eberteaboy being young and carefree, running around full of joy as a child and then how he loses touch with people through being lardy rather than enjoying training with everyone else.
The ghost of Fetchmas present shows Eberteaboy how everyone else loves the training (including Bob Fetchit), but because Eberteaboy won't give him time to train, Fetchit's son Tiny Tim is getting very unfit and unwell as a result.
The ghost of Fetchmas future then shows Eberteaboy gets in the future if he's not doing any training to add to his log? He then resolves to create a training plan and conquercise every zone between here and Timbuktu while running Fetchpoints to encourage everyone else and encourages Fetchit by inviting him and his family to go for a run.
Not sure that's quite how Dickens ever envisaged it...
