Does anyone know if there is any way of leaving this game (I can't see anything on here http://www.fetcheveryone.com/checkpoints.php), or at least turning the fmail notifications off as they're starting to bug me now?

Is there not a link in the emails that says click here if you don't want any more email notifications ?
I can't check until I do a run later as I've deleted all my checkpoint emails, but pretty sure there is, down the bottom after it tells you of your times for all the sections you've ran

Been fun using these to mix up my run commutes this past year or thereabouts
Some pie in the sky development ideas for this i've had, no worries if not viable or priority:
Overlay checkpoints on training log entry map (see nearby checkpoints missed, helps with future route planning).
Alternative "ave points per checkpoint local league" - measure of quality over quantity
Colour code for users unvisited checkpoints in zone (grey?), likewise coloured lines between checkpoints (grey is not linked, yellow is one direction, red is both directions?).
Local route planner - input number of checkpoints to visit, site suggests a route.(this might be mega complex and legally impossible due to liability tho?)
Ta tho, it's good as it is so no biggy.

Do only runners appear on the local leaderboards? I do mostly biking and have racked up a number of connections but I'm not on the local leaderboard. I'm also wondering if some of my efforts are those that have appeared as anonymous.

Yep, I've noticed no emails for last 2 or 3 days, but I did get a new notification for a new checkpoint pair that I've not had in the past, so sounds like there's been some tinkering going on, sure we'll be told soon............
