aw, Napoleon is lovely. I'm sure he is a great inspiration. My dad was a parish minister and he loved his "wee catties" as he called them, not to mention the collie dogs.
Looking forward to kitten pics, EP! Are you not going to take 2?

ITG I would love 2 but mum is paying for this one and at £750 (OMG!) I won't be buying a 2nd!
Just seen on the BBC that puppy prices have gone up with some now £3000!

we were going to adopt but couldn't get one stupid that it seems and mum wanted to (not seen us etc)
we would never have paid more than the adoption costs which are normally £50-100

My brother has a couple of cats which he paid for and travelled a long way to get - one is a rag doll, the other maybe part Persian.
One of my daughter's friends got a kitten from someone on Gumtree - I definitely wouldn't go down that route. Then she got out before being spayed and there were more kittens!

SK Ozzy is a persian going to Bognor to get him which is a long way! Glad he is old enough now .... another couple of weeks and we wouldn't have been able to get him I expect

problem is shelters etc aren't getting rid of animals as they can't vet the new owners!
