That’s poor from the vet. They should be used to challenging animals!

I just about lost it with her when she was telling me the importance of worm/flea/tick treatments as he would need to be sedated to get a tick removed - she doubted I was doing it right when I said we'd removed ticks in the past with no issues. I was a bit snappy when I explained I'd worked as an animal rescue officer and in a cattery and a vet practice & I know my own cat! 😾

Gosh. I'm yet to take ours to the vet but Mr LF took Bib in January and explained that he had no idea how she'd react but feisty was an option. The vet was totally reassuring and unfazed. Bib went into freeze mode and the vet did comment "my, she looks very cross" but that was it.

I thought ours would be more nervy than they actually were when we took them to the vet for their jabs, but they were quite friendly and inquisitive with the vet (Mabel was out and about started sniffing the computer mouse) I did notice the vets room had minimal “stuff” and few places for escapees to run or hide, as you might expect |

Napoleon is really good at the vets. Very vocal but purrs and doesn't scratch. He really likes clean bleached surfaces, (will roll over and over on a floor/table cleaned with bleach) so I wonder if that's part of it for him.

Buddy tries to hide in the box and both hate he vet and are very vocal from the time we get them in the car. Sunny has far more vet experience as she has asthma so getting that diagnosed took ages with visits to a couple of vets.
