no idea how he's done it but he's still charging about

chewing everything (teething?) and generally being himself

Aw Dio - you'll be better soon!

After a lot of toing and froing with vets and Cats Protection I've got Stray booked in to be neutered next week. Then we'll see whether we can realistically keep him.

That's good SK, when Toria found Jafar
abandoned in a shop doorway the Cats Protection couldn't help for weeks and weeks so in the end we rehomed him, although lately he's getting fed somewhere else as he comes home once a day then disappears again, but is getting fatter by the day.

My sister used to have a cat.
It started disappearing randomly at some point. At that same time it also got fatter!
One day my sister is stood chatting with a neighbour from a couple of blocks away.
The cat, European Blue, strolls past.
Both women in unison: oh there is our cat!
Mystery solved 🤣🤣🤣

As a child we had a cat who seemed to spend half the year with us and half with another household. And we used to have a visiting cat in a flat in West Hampstead too but never fed him as he clearly had a home and was just being over-sociable!

I'll be interested to see how much weight he's put on next week - he's certainly getting through more than the recommended daily 2.5 pouches of very expensive GI food (which vet suggested as he had diarrhoea - seems to be helping).
