Lucky is a cutie - and so is tazsedai's box cat!
I managed to get Ellie in the carrier yesterday:
Lured her in to the bathroom (v. small, nowhere to hide), put her in, she immediately jumped out and ran to the shower tray, so I put a towel round her and the second attempt was successful. She was very good at the vet's but they picked up what might be a heart murmur (1 or 2 on a scale of 0-6). It might also have been stress though, and it's not affecting her so I think we'll see how it goes rather than committing to a blood test and possible ultrasound.

Boba just met next door's dog. He just made it over the fence back home before the dog got him. We didn't think Boba could jump that fence. Apparently he can.

Neighbour and I had a lovely whatsapp exchange. She's going to try to discourage cats from hanging round there and we are fitting some more shrubs for our garden. I'm back to sick with worry. I so hope they learn not to go there before anything bad happens. Her dog is lovely but he's brought home ducks and rats for her and he's young and fast.

They wouldn't stand a chance it's a staffie. But the neighbour is a regular cats protection donor and she is going to try scaring our cats off if she sees them so they don't get too comfy at hers. She keeps saying she can't be nasty to cats but I've told her she needs to show them her garden is a bit scary. We are going to buy some shrubs of the sort Bib and Boba love in her garden to put in ours to make our garden nice for them. Of course they will ignore them because cats.
