LF getting a cat has totally changed me! I never knew I was capable of this much love for a small creature and I used to be very into horses!

Poor Dio. Get well soon wobbly one.
Bib cat saw the neighbour's dog. She was on their fence and I shouted the neighbour to tell her to scare our cat off but the dog ran out and Bib came back in.
Am I bit worried about neighbourly relations so will keep up supplying cake to the dog's humans and hope that the goodwill stays long enough for the cats to learn. I am guessing that if we can avoid disaster the cats will have some frights and learn it's not their territory and that it belongs to the dog. The rescue said they would do that and seemed unconcerned at a neighbour having a dog so fingers crossed. The neighbour was away last week so I think our cats now see her garden as safe.

Poor wobbly Dio.
Cat flap being fitted. I'll be confident to let them use it in a decade or so.
Boba sleeping through the intrusion. Bib is sat at the top of the stairs wondering what the noise is in her kitchen. (They're shut in away from the work).

Leaguefreak, is it worth providing your neighbour with a decent water gun for spraying your cats with? A fairly easy way of discouraging trespass? My dog owning (lurchers) neighbour used to do that, it seemed to work.

She seemed reluctant to but it reassures me your cats were OK next door to lurchers.
She is going out and clapping, banging the fence etc before doggo goes out.
