I did toy with the idea when my sister had a very long haired rabbit...and shed a whole lot. My sister used to brush her regularly and come up with nearly half a rabbit's worth of fur!!

Not all cats react to it and if they do then they go manic for a while first. I think you'd be better off desensitising him by doing a little bit of grooming followed by a treat, then gradually lengthen the grooming time; he'll come to associate the grooming with something good. And it is very important for him.

Yes I’d agree. C9 always lets the cats sniff the comb. Then carefully combs the neck area where the scent glands are and lets them sniff again
