Now we have Cinq and Six, including a rather improbable Siamese among the mass of little black kittens!
It’s all a bit of a mystery, as so often with rescue cats.

What a cutie. Looks like my Alfie as a kitten.

I think particularly strumpetty cats can have one litter with multiple fathers involved.

My wife suggests the same cat may be father and grandfather which could help express a recessive trait. There are 7 kittens (one to trap still) and about 4 or 5 adults in the colony including mother and 2 of last year’s kittens of unknown sex.

Still no sign of Cat Protection here. Nightly visits through our flap munching all their leftovers.
Not too bothered about that but it sprays on the way out.

Gino has hardly touched his own bowl all day, but every time I put something outside for the stray he eats it, even stuff he never touches 😂🙀

It’s possible that CP are just completely overwhelmed and only dealing with the most urgent cases currently. We are in the eye of a kittenpocalypse currently, it’s basically catmageddon round these parts. Our guess is that the long wet winter caused a hiatus in usual behaviour which then unwound very quickly. Strays, ferals, kittens, it’s all happening round here.
