Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've spent most of the day under one cat or another. I'm not going to be used as a wrestling mat, however.

Do any of your cats bite when they’re being stroked and seem happy and purring. Our cat gives the odd “love bite” - a gentle nibble. However my mum’s cat is more aggressive and seems to get a bit over excited!

Hester doesn't like to be stroked or hugged too much. If you keep going past her limit she'll properly attack you! I think that maybe she wasn't socialised properly by whoever had her first. Even after being here for over 5 years she hasn't really mellowed.

Kyri sometimes has a bite when he's rolling over as if he wants tummy cuddles - then very quickly draws back as though he's embarrassed! It's never very aggressive.

Yes - we got told by the fosterer before we got our two that Mabel has a tendency to get over stimulated.

She’s very affectionate and purry, and on occasions turns somewhat bitey, and it’s not a nibble! She really idolises my husband and strangely she only turns on him not me. If she really meant it she’d draw blood, and she’s not done that.

She’s 11, and a happy and healthy cat. He just retreats contact until she’s calmed down, which is usually less than a minute.

The one we are visited by, called Bollard, belonging to a neighbour, does. He doesn't mean anything by it.

Yes, Lasya only tolerates cuddles up to a point and rarely from others than me.
