Charlotte got up yesterday morning and said that Jafar was on her bed when she woke up, the cats are banned from her room as she has gerbils in there. Turns out that Pikachu was standing on the bannister outside her room and standing on the door handle so the door swings open before shutting again.

We've picked up Katarina after her op. She's very groggy and keeps falling over. It is a tragic thing to see. However, she is now trying to eat something which I assume is a good sign.

Aw poor Kata - she'll be right as rain before long and SO pleased to be outside - can she go straight away or are there stitches to come out first?

Ellie is so attention-seeking sometimes. I can just about live with her pummelling me and purring loudly on my lap for a few minutes before she settles on a chair next to me but I gave up earlier today when she invaded the table I work at:

She was so sorry for herself last night that I slept downstairs with her.

She had a remarkable revovery at 3am. Then again at 5am. We are no longer friends. I love her but I love sleep more.

Of course, I am glad she is ok.

Velociraptor

Morwen, my new actual grandkitten (as opposed to a foster-grandkitten, of which there have been more than I can count). She's not on a box, but she has a throne.

Apparently the lady at the cat rescue centre looked at the prospective parents, picked out a kitten, and said, "You'll get on well with this one. She's weird and a bit alternative."
