Can you dissolve it in tuna water or something? You need something with a strong smell and taste so he cannot sniff out the medicine.

I can try that
My concern now is wasting them as such

Also trying to get them in on my own!
I’m hoping he’s still being cautious after his visit to the vets as he’s still hiding from me!

Ozzy really doesn’t trust us
Very unsure about a meat stick and he loves them
Also couldn’t eat a whole one so I don’t think he’s eaten much for days

Poor lad

Can Mr Pix administer the meds with gloves on? As in surgical ones?

I’m not sure how allergic he is and wouldn’t want to put him at risk
I’ll try the wrap in towel method tomorrow morning!

Glad he’s home. Bit late to this, but for posterity-

Mabel would probably just eat a tablet straight out of our hands if we offered it 😂 Trudy is much more fussy - we get the wormer / flea tablets down them both no problem in those Royal Canin pockets. Expensive but they work for us. We tried a different pill pocket but Trudy wouldn’t eat that one.

thanks will look on Amazon

He was OK this morning

I tried the towel thing which was like wrapping an octopus but the tablet went down OK and I didn't notice it on the floor afterwards!!

I read this as Mr Pix behind the sofa!

Good luck with meds and cats. Always a challenge.
