Fragile Do Not Bend
Looking at Oreo’s face, contentedly warming himself by the Aga, you’d never know that earlier today he was being a total drama queen and creating merry hell because he was going to the vet for his annual jabs. 🙄

I love that he has his bed on a shelf by the Aga. Absolute heaven!

I now wished I had taken both... But I felt she'd be happier on her own...

Hann, 2 cats can be a complicated undertaking and there's no guarantee they would have wanted to live together. We sometimes wonder if our two would have been better adopted separately. Of course we love both and have no intention of parting with either. And every now and again they groom each other and snuggle up together.

Anyway at least you don't have to spend half an hour every morning watching to make sure one cat isn't eating the other's food!

Thanks LF!

A friend and experienced mad cat man told me at the time that cats are intrinsically solitary creatures... And a friend of mine has brother and sister and they hate each other and go out of the way to avoid each other. OK in a big house with a cat flap: they are rarely both in the house, one goes into the neighbours empty rabbit hutch!
But in my small chapel without cat flap: not so good!

But isn't he beautiful? 🥰
Missed seeing her sister yesterday, as a dog turned up and she rushed into the garden high up in a tree 😭🤬

On the other hand, our siblings Miso and Nori show every sign of being the best of friends - they're often to be found curled up together, grooming each other, or playing together.
They happily eat together from the same bowl, even.
