Moon does have a savings account (we decided on that instead of insurance; we'll see if that was wise soon), so he can afford the bills for the moment. The most traumatic thing is probably going to be "no food after 21:00 on Sunday for a 09:30 appointment on Monday". I wonder if he will lose his voice miaowing about how starving he is...

If it's any consolation Hester had to have 24 hours of no food once and she was surprisingly sanguine about it. I had worried that she might try and eat me during the night but although she followed me around a lot she was fine.
