Received the race instructions on Monday. Looking forward to this, although I will be aiming to be slow as it is a training run

I like that they tell us exactly what we are getting at each checkpoint, means I am better able to plan what to carry with me

Does anyone know if they give us full course directions? If I have to rely on the map I will get lost - I can't see it properly (it's my age)!!!

that sounds useful. I have printed off an OS map as that has a bit more detail
Do you remember if the water was in cups or bottles? It also talks of sports drink, was that bottles?
I like that there is fruit at the CPs. I recently did a race with chopped up appple, it was so nice so since then I have carried a little bag of chopped up apple if I have had my rucksack!
