It's an excellent idea. We're going to start raffling all our rubbish.

If it genuinely is a Nordman fir, you might be able to get it home without the needles falling off

Love Lettuce
Lol, I love the idea of fairy lights being PAT tested! The 'fun' half of my open plan office put up their Christmas decorations earlier this week (no PAT testing). On the bah humbug side we remain a festivity free zone

“Dear all

As an incentive to complete the [xxx] survey, HR have just added a box of doughnuts to the treats table. If you haven’t already completed the survey then please do so as soon as possible.”

(This surely sets a precedent to hold out for treats before we complete these things?! And what about those of us who filled it out two weeks ago? Are we also entitled to treats?)

Fragile Do Not Bend
“Sent on behalf of [service] Management Team

For awareness, following the attack on London Bridge on Friday, 29 November, a minute’s silence will be observed today (2 December) at 11am.

Thank you.”

All well and good, but as this is a public building, with no tannoy system to alert people, and only a few small signs put up at about 10:30, you can guess how silent it actually was at 11am.

Dear Colleagues,

The 2019 Year-End Performance Review process has launched today. The first step in the process is Self & Manager Assessments.

About This Thread

Maintained by GregP
Amplify your influence, further inspire your team, enhance your leadership skills and develop a competitive edge for your organisation.

The session will support you in considering the organisational culture you are creating. We will consider how you can ensure people are collaborating and innovating effectively and you will gain an understanding of how to motivate and engage teams after/during a period of such huge uncertainty.

You will be given assessment tools to use following the session that will allow you to critique your approach and gain feedback from your teams to ensure the approach you are taking is motivating and challenging whilst supportive.
