Return trip Leicester to Gatwick this morning to drop son + friend off for their trip to Norway: Set the cruise control to 63mph and was pleased to get over 4 m/kWh - so approx 230 miles range - that's only 20 miles down on local driving. Had to get them there for 7am, so was a 4am start. Straight down and then stopped at Cobham services on way back for breakfast and 35 minutes on the charger. All very smooth. Have just got to repeat the process in a fortnight when they return!! |

Dear Colleague, It has been both awful and worrying to see the violence and disruption that has flared up in various UK places, including London, over the last few days. All so counter to our own way of being together in our wonderfully diverse, multicultural, international and inclusive University of XXXX community. We got.... The recent violent events in UK towns and cities may be concerning for many of our colleagues. For anyone at Xxxxx who is affected by these in any way, know we are there for you and your teams. Our Corporate Security team are monitoring the situation closely and will make sure any specific guidance gets to the right teams if it's needed. Colleague safety is always our main priority.
