Looking at your half PB you should definitely get the t shirt you selected.

Looking at your half PB it would be a nailed on certainty if you 'borrowed' my number! How about it? Very cold in January, after all... ;-)

Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, assuming I read it correctly. :-)

I'm starting to panic a little about this one...had 'manflu' for the last week and it's still taking some shifting. Done no running since 27th December and suspect that I won't be running 'til at least next Tuesday (8th Jan). I was hoping to nail a 1h:34m:59s HM on the day however, giving the current situation this *may* be a little too much to expect.

Helen was telling me to go to the docs yesterday to get some antibitics but I've so far restited...mainly becasue a) I don't have a chest infection, b) Antibiotics does funky stuff to your bloods that really kills your aerobic fitness.

Fingers crossed, a few more non-training days will see me recover and be in good shape...

Me too :-( sprained my foot end of October so was always going to be a race (ha!) to be up to this one but a week and a half with the lurgy has really thrown a spanner in the works! A club mate is desperate for my place tho but ill be gutted to miss this one. Last year i took 19 minutes off my PB.

NickyNoo - if your club mate is female, then she can have my place for the cost of entry plus £5 admin fee. They are allowing number swaps between same sex peoples
