Oh good, much relieved! Can cope with mud on roads, just not fields and swamps.

Had to abort this evening's reccy - we only took the route map which came with my number and it isn't detailed enough for us to follow it without iPad assistance! Will try again tomorrow but I think it is just going to be mud on road!

I've just seen the list of marshalls and one of my friends is an outrider - do you think anyone would notice if I cadged a lift? ;-)

:-)
We did a bit of a reccy tonight - the route was rather hard to decipher but in the main, the route is puddly, bit of mud here and there but all tarmac/concrete/potholes, ever so remote in places so for us plodders it's going to be lonely (the poor marshals who are going to be out there:-o) and do keep an eye out for the gorgeous baby goats which, I think, are somewhere between 8 - 10 miles (but don't hold me to that!!). You may want to wear your wellies if it continues raining tomorrow!

It looks like it will Min, but conditions for Sunday look to be glorious (with remarkably little wind).

Have a fantastic run folks. As a son of Lincolnshire I hope this event is a triumph and that it happens again next year so I can run it :-)
