Sorry to hear about the problems causing people to drop out - hope all gets better soon for you. I'm currently afflicted with a dodgy right quad which I'm hoping will last the distance. It is going to be a slow and gentle plod though - not that much of my running is anything other than that!

Hello :-) - hoping to run on Sunday, but recovering from virus so need to see how things go. The virus has been a blessing in disguise (I think!) as left hammy and calf were complaining about needing a break. They've definitely had one now! It'll be a shock to the system running 26.2 on Sunday. Sorry to read that people are having to drop out.

Fingers crossed for you Pipes - we don't need any more dropping out :-o although I did see that someone had managed to sign up yesterday even though entries were supposed to be closed on 3rd April! Perhaps there'll be a last minute surge

In response to your enquiry yesterday Min:

No news.

Looks like I'm doing it, then...

Although anything could happen in the next few days.

What's this MUD mentioned in the latest Boston email? I can't do mud, it wrecks my legs - my current dodgy right quad was caused by a traumatic XC race that I accidentally got involved with. Please tell me there's no off road stuff in this? Pretty please?

There's no off road stuff jabberknit, as far as I'm aware. It's probably just mud left by tractors. I was thinking of driving the route tonight so will have a look and see what they're talking about.
