I ordered Queenie today in the independent bookshop that's up for sale. I want the accounts to look healthy so it's sold as a going concern ;-) (The current owner wants to retire, but says - according to the estate agent - that it is profitable and 'easily run by a solo owner'. So tempting!

I didn't dislike it. It was interesting from a police procedure perspective too IIRC.

Looking forward to our Christmas book already. Sue's reading it now - in August, for all love. Looks charming, if a tad German.
