Now, getting back to books: I'm getting really cheesed off plodding through the Miracle of Castel di Sangro. I need to have a look at the choosinator website Fleecy mentioned in a recent blog. Unless anyone has a book they *insist* I need to read? (This month's choice - 'evil twin thriller' genre - doesn't appeal :-( )

LD - if you're looking for a recommendation, one I spammed all my GR friends with recently was "The Hummingbird's Daughter" by Luis Alberto Urrea
that's quite long though, and a really excellent short one I read recently was Christopher Isherwood's "A Single Man"
