I also have the earworm. It has replaced Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia which came from nowhere and was driving me FUCKING INSANE. Thank you.
I guess we could chain letter choose: I choose for Dipps, who chooses for McG, who chooses for Bint, etc. Or we could do it in pairs.

I read quite a bit of Virginia Woolf in times past. And Younger Daughter, who studied English at Uni, wrote a dissertation on Windows, Mirrors and Pictures in... I've forgotten which novel it was, possibly To The Lighthouse.

We should definitely have a book. I like both systems, maybe alternate? It's good to be able to have a shared discussion, although not having read a book should not discourage one from talking about it.

I believe I have a book by Virginia Woolf about her spaniel. Wait, I'll look it up. Yes, it's called Flush: A Biography. I haven't read it.

I’ve finished Persuader by Lee Child, my first and last Jack Reacher. It’s not bad and it’s not good. The writing doesn’t offend, even if the whole thing is both ridiculous and pointless. It’s a quick read.

Oh, and what I meant to say, and I don’t think that this is an original thought, is that Reacher’s modus operandi is basically the same as the Littlest Hobo, but with a higher body count.
