To fill the hiatus between TTTC and the beginning of September, I have unwisely started a Henry James. Not a short story. The Wings of the Dove. It is quite clearly going to be Very Hard Work. And it's a library copy, so I can't just put it by while disporting myself through whatever George, Biggles, Dixie and Owlie select, and pick it up later. I may have to buy myself a copy.
