Hold on, there's a bug, as such. What happened to "Excuse me mam while I vomit" and "Cancer Ward" and all that stuff from around then? "Nod", too.

Ah - it's the "scroll down a tad" ones I'd missed.

If the polls are to be believed there's normally fewer than ten people that read the book and vote on it most months.

My understanding was that the Book Club one would be for people in the Book Club, iyswim. Not cliquey, just a way of us seeing who liked what. We did a poll after we'd done ten books, but there are too many books for that now. But perhaps it is cliquey if only 10 people take part. Dunno. I'd just be interested in organising my own thoughts, and seeing other people's thoughts.

Since when has any knowledge of what you're voting for been a requirement in a democracy?

My vote still goes to The Field of the Cloth of Gold (Magnus Mills) for the 'book I would not have read otherwise that I enjoyed most'.

But that's exactly the sort of data I'd be interested in seeing, and right now we can't even see all the books in a list *whines*. Perhaps a thread would do it. I'll think about it. |
