Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

How's the visibility been?

Been some awful fog in parts of the country the last few days. Even if you don't get lost, take a miss-turn, etc, I often find some conditions, like those we seem to have experienced since Christmas, can really slow you down if nothing else.

Sound plan :)

hope the weather isn't too unkind

all the best!

(the reference was for me to get a rough handle on timings rather than a reference for records etc)

Do you think she's going to deviate off the loaded track and head north from Sallows to get the 2 (Ill Bell and Yoke) she didn't do earlier ?

If there is snow/Ice on the ridge she might sensibly have decided on the safer Froswick descent rather than the steep and extremely dodgy Yoke descent.

No snow and ice. Just very gusty and from the perfectly wrong direction.

Tbh I've known worse, usually involving the Cumbrian Traverse ;-) it was just a continual risk assessment and adjusting accordingly. Some good minds in the group, on and off the mountain.
