K5 Gus Dec 2024 10:15am, 30 Dec 2024 6,305 posts	0 K5 Gus With the MWIS forecat saying winds of up to 75mph on the tops and "walking very difficult; mobility difficult on higher tops" I did wonder with the long rest she had at Kirkstone Pass if she was thinking of calling it a day, but see she has now set off again. Rather her than me in those conditions ! Hope she stays safe.

The leg to Kirkstone last night was really tough and, with the weather not improving, the decision was made to sleep until daylight before assessing the next leg.
