Would a continuous walking tour of the Wainwright's follow the same route as the running route, or is there a 'better' alternative (as in more scenic, more access to shops, etc).

I think the route for the attempts at the record are designed for speed and efficiency. If there was the time then it could probably be done in a far more comfortable style.

That’ll “help” with getting the chores done this weekend then What you need is a smart tv on the go for 24 hours, just nip into the room occasionally for updates. Obviously you’ll need a. Opt off the schedule too to see how he’s progressing. I’m hoping for live updates from SimonF |

Dave A Well, I'll be sleeping for the first 7 hours but might be awake to watch him come down Halls Fell from our bedroom window. Carol's leg will only take a couple of hours which will just about give me time for a latte in Ambleside before picking her up.
