Met someone at Glen Nevis YH who saw a CRR party depart at 3am, when his girlfriend was starting a Tranter. Turns out he himself ran a spritely 19:38 the week before.
Northern Exile Jun 2021 8:37pm, 21 Jun 2021 7,758 posts	0 Northern Exile Yes, that's right - he left at 0300. Just FYI for those who know him, Matt Neale also left at 0300 and finished in about 23 hours. I saw him at Loch Trieg and he was flying. Looked as fresh as a daisy yesterday too!

These are relatively rare, since I've had an interest in the Joss I've been surprised by the high success rate because it's a tough outing.... I guess it must be something to do with the fact that if you're still an active fell runner in your 50s then you're likely to have the experience that goes with it. Joss was waiting for the guy too, that will have been hard.
