Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good to hear DT. Swim training over the winter is a very good call :-)

The Tadpole round is becoming very popular. The Lakeland Tri guys have started to use it as a benchmark for their juniors. Bobs has expressed some cautious interest in it and she is definitely a slow breast-stroker, I've said I would do the swims with her if she's genuinely up for it.

Don't know where Simon is right now, he lost cellular coverage somewhere east of Red Pike. I think he must be down around Buttermere by now, he'll have to get a wiggle on if he's going to break Dan's record.

The Tadpole does look more my sort of distance :) - definitely need to find the time to get back in the water next year.

You would need a wetsuit that is conducive to breast stroke, otherwise it could be a bit of a fight. The alternative is going sans wetsuit, but you need conditions to be right for that. Crummock Water is notoriously cold ...
