Let me see now Birmingham .... or Cornwall ... Birmingham .... or Cornwall. Druids Heath or Bodmin Moor? Walk down dangerous side street to busy, oversubscribed primary school that we would have struggled to get into, or walk down stony lanes to local village school of about 250 children. Countryside was half an hour drive previously, now it's a hop over the back garden. The clincher is that when running you don't have to stop for the bloody traffic everytime you want to cross a road, because you hardly ever seen any! This is one heresy I won't be recanting. Burn me at the stake!

I've not got my number yet but then I suppose I live in a different country ;)

I'm almost a non-runner at present and hoping well rested legs and the need to work off some post-exam anger/ stress will grant me a decent crack at a PB.

Does the elite race start seperately?

Would have been amazing just to watch it... hmm... maybe wouldn't be such a bad thing if chip gets lost...
