Is the route waymarked? In terms of difficulty, how does it compare to Yorkshireman or TMW? Thanks

stilldreaming - when I did it, it was very well waymarked. Except for one corner where I missed the arrow pointing left and gave myself an extra 100m, uphill.
Don't remember stone walls though......
It was very hot and humid when I did it and I died in the bit through the woods and back along the river.

Oh, and in terms of difficultly, it's probably about as hard the Yorky half. Slightly longer, slightly less climb. No real fell terrain.

Cartainly not fell but certainly not flat either.
Very well marked and very well run, I ran the whole thing without a map and didnt take one wrong turn back in 2010, its a lovely (tough) event that is very worthy of the small entry fee.

Excellent, I got an email from the event last night confirming my entry along with a map and route narative. All numbers to be collected on the day but thats not a big issue as its very well organised.
Map and route narative are all optional.
